Performance Management
The importance that KPMG places in its people is reflected in the careful way in which it selects, recruits, trains and develops their careers. Each department has a distinct career plan from which professionals may be promoted based on their performance.

The KPMG policy acknowledges individual characteristics and performance and links these factors to an adequate and flexible remuneration as well as to the retention of its best professionals.

Performance Management and Evaluation is a tool used by KPMG to help ensure achievement of strategic and operational objectives. An analysis is carried out on the development of each professional relative to the objectives agreed upon and skills needed to perform the daily tasks and responsibilities of each professional. In this sense, we place emphasize individual and professional development, and seek to identify training and development needs needed to achieve the objectives.

To guide our professionals’ careers, we adopted the mentorship concept whereby each professional is assigned a manager responsible for counseling and to helping manage individual’s career within KPMG.

The total remuneration paid to all staff is established using the KPMG remuneration policy as a base and includes salaries, bonuses and other benefits. The bonuses are performance based, in accordance with KPMG standards.
